Product Introduction
The 5G communication OTA testing system creates a plane wave testing environment within a limited space through compact range system. It offers high-precision and high-efficiency OTA radiation characteristic tests across the 5G FR1 and FR2 full frequency bands, fully matching the research and verification requirements for 5G base stations and terminal devices. Application Background
1. 5G with its advantages of high speed, low latency and large-capacity connections which is driving the intelligent upgrade of global industries. The rapid development in fields such as mobile phones, communication base stations, vehicle networking and IoT devices has led to a significant demand for the research and production of 5G equipment.
2. The 5G high-frequency equipment no longer has the traditional RF transmission interface that requires cable testing. The International Standards Organization 3GPP stipulates in TS 38.141 that only OTA (air interface) method should be used for RF testing of 5G millimeter wave equipment.
3. The path loss of high-frequency signals such as millimeter waves significantly increases during space transmission, resulting in the failure of traditional field tests due to deteriorated signal-to-noise ratio and the inability to meet the far-field conditions (the test distance needs to satisfy 2D^2/λ).
