Application Background

The feed rotator is the crucial equipment in the anechoic chamber of compact range system. The spherical waves transmitted by the feed installed on the rotator are reflected by the reflector and transformed into plane waves. All frequency band feeds required for RCS test are installed on the rotator. Through automatic switching, the RCS performance of the target in all frequency bands can be measured in a single test, significantly improving the test efficiency.
