Product Introduction

Provide a professional compact range system which integrates high-performance reflectors, precise antenna rotator and multi-frequency band feeders. It creates a plane wave testing environment in anechoic chamber. It supports key measurement contents such as phased array pattern, gain and beam scanning accuracy, matching the equivalent far-field testing requirements of antennas in the military, communication and radar fields, ensuring the accuracy of the AUT performance and improving the testing efficiency.

Application Background

Large-scale application of phased array technology: Active phased array antennas have been widely deployed in 5G/6G communication, phased array radars and satellite payloads. Their beamforming performance and scanning accuracy require high-confidence verification. Traditional far-field testing is constrained by Rayleigh distance, while the compact range system will provide an equivalent far-field testing solution.
Constraints of large array far-field testing: Ultra-large phased array antennas are difficult to meet the conventional far-field conditions (R > 2D²/λ). The compact field system is based on the principle of wavefront reconstruction of the reflector. It converts the spherical waves radiated by the feed into plane waves within a limited distance through the reflector, breaking through the physical limitations of large-aperture array testing.
